When you say those two words to Ike Sugg, owner of Bar None Ø Hunts, that means 160 B&C class deer or BIGGER, and Ike Sugg knows BIG DEER. Growing up in the historical SUGG country in West Texas, Ike has seen and harvested many big deer throughout his life. His passion for Whitetail deer hunting was the impetus behind Ike's creation of Bar None Ø Hunts in 2003. Ike believes the genetics on his family’s property can go toe-to-toe with the best free-range whitetail deer in South Texas, and he plans to prove it.
Bar None Ø Hunts manages more than 50,000 acres of prime whitetail habitat on three different ranches for those who attend our guided hunt camping events. All three of our ranches (Tepee Creek, Ketchum Mountain, and Big Hollow) are under Managed Land Deer Permits (MLDP), and although we are able to hunt October through February, Bar None Ø Hunts has chosen to have fewer deer hunting events to ensure higher quality of your game and lower pressure during your hunt. We do not offer turkey hunts or wild quail hunts because we want to focus on what our hunters truly want: Whitetail. This approach helps us to have far more mature bucks in the 140-180 class range than we have hunters, so that we can make your hunt as enjoyable and successful as possible. Call us today when you are in San Angelo, TX looking to go guided hunt camping!
