Guided Deer Hunts

Ike Sugg, owner of Bar None Ø Hunts, knows big deer. To Ike, “big” means 160″ B&C class deer or larger. Growing up on his family’s historical Sugg ranches in West Texas, Ike has seen and harvested many big deer throughout his life. His passion for whitetail deer hunting inspired him to create Bar None Ø Hunts in 2003, believing the genetics on his family’s property could go toe-to-toe with the best free-range whitetail deer in Texas. He was right.

Bar None Ø Hunts manages more than 50,000 acres of prime whitetail habitat on three different ranches made available to those who join our guided hunts. We hunt 100% native deer.

These men spend deer season at Bar None hunting camp year after year, bringing skills and passion for deer hunting honed by most since childhood. Their primary goals for your guided deer hunts? Ike Sugg
Owner

Ike grew up in a family that has owned premiere Texas ranches since the late 1800s, and he has traveled all over the United States hunting whitetail and mule deer. Passionate about growing big deer, Ike loves watching native deer mature into prime game that visitors can enjoy at his ranch.

Tuffy Wood
General Manager / Hunting Guide

Tuffy has been a guide with Bar None for 12 years and general manager for five years. He started hunting with his dad at six years old and graduated with a degree in animal science from Angelo State University. When Tuffy isn’t at Bar None, he’s fishing at tournament level; deer hunting for whitetail or mule deer; and spending time with his son and twin girls.

Roy Basham
Hunting Guide

A native of San Angelo, TX, Roy has been a guide with Bar None for 10 years. He hunts in his free time and trains for triathlons, having completed a half Iron Man and a full Iron Man. He also enjoys spending time with his two daughters.

Billy Pierce
Hunting Guide

From the small town of Mertzon, TX, Billy has been a guide with Bar None for 10 years. He now lives in Round Rock, TX, and has three sons.
